Myers Equipment Conducts Regional Service Training Classes

By Matt Kalbfell | NW Pennsylvania Thomas Built Buses Salesman

In our continuous effort to better serve our customers, we are starting to conduct service training classes closer to where our customers live and work. If we can provide training while also saving you some mileage to get there, we want to do it.

Our first regional service training was August 1st at Anderson Coach and Travel in Greenville, PA. We brought in the folks from Cummins to put on a Cummins training session. They went through common misconceptions, information on regens, how to enable the Stay Warm feature, and how to best use Insite, among other things. Then, they hooked up to a bus in the shop and actually enabled the Stay Warm feature on the projector screen. It was a fun blend of classroom time and more hands-on time out in the shop.

We are looking to conduct additional regional service training classes after the chaos of the start of school dies down a bit. Please let us know if you are interested in us coming out to your place or somewhere near you!
