The Travois Type II ambulance is available in three different chassis types: the Ford Transit, Chevrolet G-3500 and Mercedes Sprinter. Used by a number of private and for-profit services, many are used for expedient transportation services. While the Travois Type II ambulance does not offer the same functionality of larger ambulances, it has all of the necessary features for a medical transport vehicle.
